About Us

Failsworth Macedonia Cricket Club is has been in existence, in one form or another since the turn of the last century. At one time almost every Sunday school in the area had a cricket team and friendly fixtures between them were a regular occurrence. We are Failsworth's last surviving cricket club from that golden era.

Where we play.

We have two teams in the GMCL, our firsts play 45 overs on a Saturday in division 4 east and our seconds play 40 overs on a Sunday in division 1. Both teams are entered in Tetley's cup games.

Member fees and club finances
  • Annual Subs: £25 (18 and over) / £10 (under 18)
  • Match day fee: £8 (18 and over) / £4 (under 18)

All money raised goes towards maintenance of the ground, insurances and licenses, and umpires and scorers fees.
